BEN STILLER DENIES U.S.A.I.D PAYMENTS
On Monday’s NEW Hollywood Show, we talk about A-lister’s being paid millions of tax payer dollars for all kinds of appearances - even government backed propaganda campaigns.
Is it true? Well, Stiller denies it. But it’s not a stretch to believe it either.
The Harris campaign spent tens of millions on celebrity endorsements just a few months ago. Beyonce (among others) took a significant fee from campaign contributions to simply make an appearance at one of her rallies. The amount is contended (of course) but there was payments made.
But now, they don't want you to believe they would EVER think to use our tax dollars to have Ben Stiller give a photo op with Zelensky. How could we conceive of such a thing?
We know that it’s not just talent. Did the producers of Sesame Street know who and what was green-lighting their $20 Million production for Iraqi TV and what that production was being used for? If they are doing that for Iraqi TV, where else are they doing it? The answer is, probably everywhere.
There is a lot we don’t know …yet. And if we cave to their whining, we never will.
The everyday hard-working creative professional finds it hard to comprehend that this level of government corruption fuels the entertainment industry. And we find it harder to think that the artists and fellow producers we love and respect would be on the take as well. But unfortunately, while we tend to give them the benefit of the doubt, we are usually proven right. Hollywood is not what we thought it was.
I’m just thankful that we are finally getting a legit audit of these institutions. Let’s just see what they uncover in the days to come. I think we will see that the game is totally rigged from top to bottom. Everyone who is anyone, is on the take.
What makes me sad, is that you and I thought that if we worked harder and did the right thing we would get ahead too. But it was crooked from the start. The funding you were seeking wasn’t denied because of your lack of talent. You never got the break because your project wasn’t approved for the cultural engineering activities of the US government (like Emilia Perez was).
But don’t be discouraged. Change is here. This is the NEW Hollywood!
